showcasing grantees and celebrating donors and grantmaking partners
This event celebrates the full range of ECF grants and the overall work of the foundation, with remarks by President and CEO, Monique B. Jones. “This is our opportunity to showcase the dynamic work being done by our grantees in Evanston and to celebrate the generosity of our donors and grantmaking partners,” said Jones. “We’re excited to talk about the partnerships ECF has in the community, including our 21st year working with Northwestern University Dance Marathon.”
According to its mission statement, ECF works to help Evanston “thrive now and forever as a just, vibrant, and inclusive community.” The grant programs highlighted in this event focus on advancing the three key goals of ECF’s strategic plan: equity, collaboration, and a thriving nonprofit community. These grant programs include: Responsive Grants, root2fruit, Communityworks, Partners for the Future, Building the Future, and Rolling Grants, as well as ECF’s work with Evanston Cradle to Career.
ECF Program Officer Rebecca Cacayuran said, “This event is a terrific opportunity for community members to witness the breadth and depth of what ECF and its grantees are accomplishing in Evanston.”
