The Evanston Community Foundation today announced the addition of 5 new board members to its Board of Directors.

The nonprofit’s all-volunteer board are selected for demonstrating a high level of commitment to the Evanston community and personal involvement in community engagement. The board provides governance over strategic planning, policy and responsibly steward over $26 million in assets.
President and CEO Monique B. Jones said, “In this moment, the Foundation is focusing equally between stewarding our community of donors and being a community leader during this time of great need. To do that, we are making sure that the decision makers at the Foundation appropriately reflect our community — not just part of it — but all of it. Our newest board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise and will be a tremendous asset as we further our mission of building a more vibrant, equitable and inclusive Evanston.”
